aMazing

I live in London, surrounded by incredible things going on every night, by theatres and parties and posh restaurants. I like knowing all these things are going on - I like being surrounded by so much energy and variety. The hard part isn't finding something fun or interesting to do, it's a) being able to afford it and b) making the time in amongst daily life. Which is why I was so excited when one of my christmas presents from my lovely parents was to go to Maze, one of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants. I've never been anywhere like it before and it was such a treat. We chose four dishes each, three savoury and one sweet - naturally my boyfriend and I shared everything so I effectively had eight different courses...mmmm. Each course was small, but beautifully presented and there was a really powerful fusion of flavours. Not bad for a Monday night eh?
